The current collage session is stored in this browser so you can reopen it locally later.
Exports are generated client-side
The final PNG or JPG is rendered in the browser and downloaded directly to your device.
What is stored locally
Two local browser stores support the current editor experience
The app uses standard browser storage so a collage can reopen without an account, but that also means storage limits and browser cleanup rules still apply.
Draft state in localStorage
Preset, template, frame adjustments, and canvas settings are persisted in this browser as a local draft record.
Image assets in IndexedDB
Uploaded image blobs and preview versions are stored in the browser so the editor can restore them locally.
Automatic cleanup of unused assets
When assets are no longer referenced by the current draft history, the app tries to remove them from local browser storage.
Important boundaries
Local-first does not mean permanent or shared across devices
This is the part users usually need stated most clearly before they rely on a browser-based workflow.
Clearing site data can remove the draft
If browser storage is cleared, private browsing is used, or a browser evicts stored data, the local draft and assets can disappear.
There is no cloud sync in this version
This release does not include accounts, team sync, remote backups, or cross-device project recovery.
Export when the collage matters
If the work is important, download the finished PNG or JPG rather than treating the local draft as durable storage.
